The London Heliport designates certain “special event days” to accommodate increased helicopter traffic during major social and sporting events. On these days, the heliport experiences heightened operational demand, leading to additional charges and specific operational considerations for landing slots. As of February 27, 2025, the upcoming special event days include:
2025 Events:
Cheltenham Festival (Ladies/Gold Cup): Wednesday, March 12, and Friday, March 14, 2025.
Royal Ascot: Tuesday, June 17, to Saturday, June 21, 2025.
An additional special event charge of £155 applies to all landing slots on these dates.

Glastonbury Festival: Wednesday, June 25, to Monday June 30, 2025
British F1 Grand Prix: Friday, July 4, to Sunday June 6 2025
Goodwood Festival of Speed: Friday, July 11, to Sunday July 13 2025
Goodwood Revival: Friday, September 12, to Sunday September 14 2025
